"Think for Yourself" is a song by the 1960s rock group The Beatles which first appeared on the 1965 album Rubber Soul.
The song is in a key of G major. There are two bass parts to this song. One is the traditional bass sound, then the other is the bass run through what was actually a guitar fux box.

It is written and sung by George Harrison and is a warning against listening to lies, unlike the misconception that the song is about his then-girlfriend (and later wife) Pattie Boyd. In his book I Me Mine he writes, "But all this time later, I don't quite recall who inspired that tune. Probably the government."
